Although my job dictates that I travel by myself quite a bit, I am currently flying on a plane with one of my best friends.  For ten years, Nate and I have had a strong relationship where we can laugh together and have a good time.  But, we also confide in one another.  I consider it a privilege to be able to travel with Nate, or any of my other friends for that matter.

 I know that when I have a friend with me, life is easier, the challenges are easier to manage, and the victories are that much sweeter.  Did you know that one of the defining attributes of Jesus' life was he was a great friend?  Did you know that he still is?  The Bible says that he is the friend that sticks closer than a brother.  He will never leave you and he can't be chased away. 

In Jesus, you have a friend that is forever by our side.  A true friend.  The kind that makes life easier, difficulties more manageable and success more common.  Jesus is right next to you. He is offering you friendship.  Have you talked to him today?  © 2007 Champion Ministries dba Groundwire
